YesWelder is proud to collaborate Atomic Dice Studios for alimited collection, exclusively custom-designed YesWelder Q800D DARKENING WELDING HELMET.
From the time he first picked up a pencil, Bob McElroy has always known that he was destined to be an artist. Spending his childhood drawing cars and bikes from his father’s magazines, he developed a strong connection with both the arts and the world of automotive and tooling.
An introduction from the artist.
The creation and planning involved within this design is a new twist. I wanted to add the elements of bright color and bold line work. I went with a stained glass Art Deco peacock inspired from the 1930’s. Having the look of fragile, stained glass on a tough rugged helmet was the desired effect. As I work on my designs for YesWelder, my intention is to diversify the art in ways you have never seen before that will reflect your personality unlike any other.
